The English cricket team is scheduled to tour the Caribbean between January and March 2019. The tour will begin with a series of three test matches. A five-game ODI series will follow with games in Barbados, Grenada and St. Lucia before the end of the trip with three games of the T20I.

This series of ODI will be very important for both teams as it will help them to evaluate their preparation for the next World Cup. The previous test series of England in the Caribbean ended in a score of 1-1 after the West Indies tied the series in Barbados after England's victory in Grenada.
This tour is very important for the West Indies Council because of the number of supporters on the road that it can bring, which will eventually help it financially.
